In a single dashboard Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Documents, Sheets, Slides, Meet. Virtual rooms and innovative functions for document management are also available. There are three versions: the base for € 4.68 per month, the standard Business for € 9.36 and the Business Plus for € 15.60. And there are also customizable packages.

Google Workspace: this is the name of the “dashboard” just unveiled by Google with the aim of enhancing the offer of cloud apps for productivity. The suite, which goes to the head-on collision with the popular Microsoft Office, aggregates all the most popular apps of the Mountain View house: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Documents, Sheets, Slides, Meet.

Google Workspace — explains the company in a note — allows users to “have a new, fully integrated experience, oriented towards collaboration and online dialogue” both between people of the same company and with customers and the supply chain.

“This is the end of the ‘office’ as we know it. From now on, the work teams will have to continue to grow without necessarily meeting in person, make the most of their time to focus on the activities of greatest impact and interact with people also through new ways — underlines Javier Soltero, vice president and general manager by Google Workspace -. Google Workspace offers a simple and fully integrated user experience, able to allow anyone to achieve their success even in this new reality, whether working from the office or home, or interacting with customers “.

The basic version is offered at € 4.68 per month, the standard Business version at € 9.36 per month. Then there are two “advanced” versions: the Business plus plan for € 15.60 per month and the Enterprise version which will be priced based on the needs of the client company following direct consultation with the Google sales team.

The new brand indentity was wanted by Google “to reflect the ambitious vision of the products and the way in which Google products work together”.

In the coming months, Google Workspace will also be extended to customers in the education and non-profit sectors. Google’s education customers will be able to continue accessing the company’s tools through G Suite for Education, which includes Classroom, Assignments, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet. G Suite for Nonprofit will continue to be available to eligible organizations through the Google for Nonprofit program.
